2006 “Calulu Road” Shiraz

Colour - brick red, medium density.

Aroma - ripe plum fruit with varietal pepper and spice of Shiraz combined with vanillan oak.

Palate - spicy Shiraz with softness and warmth; ripe plum fruit flavours that are well balanced with vanilla, coffee bean oak and soft, fine tannins.

General comments - a soft, medium bodied wine with texture and balance, that is suitable for immediate drinking.

Food suggestions - BBQ saltbush lamb or porterhouse steak, chicken or veal parmigiana
