2006 Myrtle Point Shiraz

Colour - brick red/crimson of medium to deep intensity.

Aroma - plums, pepper and allspice with a hint of vanilla oak.

Palate -    rich, ripe palate of full body with a warm, soft mouth feel and ripe plum fruit flavours.

General comments - a full-bodied Shiraz with softness and rich flavour suitable for immediate drinking or further, medium term, cellaring.

Food suggestions - lamb shanks, ox tail stew or rare roast beef.
