Our Cellar Door is perched above the Mitchel River Valley and provides the perfect setting to enjoy our wines. The views from the deck take in the Myrtle Point Vineyard, the limestone escarpment and the sweeping views of the valley below.
We have collaborated with some of our favourite local foodies for the Taste of East Gippsland Platter. This is a set platter with a portions from Sardine Eatery + Bar, Northern Ground, The Long Paddock, Paynesville Pantry & Seasalt Sourdough and can be enjoyed all day at the cellar door. We also stock a range of local beers from Sailors Grave & Bullant Breweries.
DECK (WEATHER PERMITTING)
Our deck offer sweeping views across to the vineyard’s limestone escarpment and down the Mitchell River Valley. Sittings are available for up to 2 hours. Umbrellas offer some cover, but the Gippsland weather can be unpredictable, so warm jackets can come in handy. Please be aware if the weather is unsuitable alternative indoor seating may not be available. Leashed pets are welcome!
TASTING ROOM (INDOORS)
Located inside our cellar door, the tasting room is an intimate space designated for wine tastings. Our wine tasting is an immersive and interactive experience tailored to your groups wine tastes. Tastings take approximately 45mins and includes up to 6 wines with a maximum group size of 8 people. Our $15 tasting fee is for the costs associated with the tasting and is not redeemable on purchases. Packages for larger bookings may be available upon request.
While booking is highly recommended, drop-ins may be accommodated subject to availability.
SAFE & ENJOYABLE VISITS
We want to provide a relaxed, enjoyable & safe experience for all our visitors, as such we have important COVID restrictions in place.
We welcome families to enjoy drinks on the deck, however we focus on showcasing our wines and local food collaborations so food is limited to the Taste of East Gippsland Platter. Unfortunately we can’t allow food & drinks from outside areas to be brought in. Please remember children are counted in our patron capacity and must be supervised at all times, there are many potential hazards around a working winery.
