Every year Tom and I always have a favourite barrel. It’s not a specific style of chardonnay, it’s the magic of wine making that has done something special. This barrel exhibited everything I love aboutthe pairing of chardonnay and oak; power and concentration with oak flavours enhancing the fruit and fermentation influences.
